Attention: STEM Entrepreneur Students Entering Grade 9-12

hub88, powered by 1871 is pleased to support the Summer Big Idea Boot Camp for High School Innovators.

The “live” Boot camp is ideal for students who enjoy thinking outside-of-the- box and seeking business skills to work on a passion.

Learners will take a career journey as an innovator and be matched with mentors to experience what it’s like to launch a real startup while earning college credit.

Students will:

  • Engage in virtual networking
  • Understand your Innovator Profile
  • Create a STEM Innovator canvas
  • Validate your idea through customer discovery
  • Master a “Shark Tank” pitch to investors
  • Protect your Intellectual Property (IP)
  • Build strategies for a college portfolio

Enrollment limited to twelve. 4 to 1 Student/Teacher ratio.


Martha Carney is the founder of a thirteen year educational consultancy and loves to teach and mentor entrepreneurs. She is a STEM Innovator practitioner, entrepreneur and role model for mentoring young women to prosper in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math (STEAM/STEM) careers.

Graciela Perera, PhD is a professor of Computer Science & selected as Faculty-in- Residence at Google in 2018. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience and building confidence through real-world learning in STEM at Hispanic Serving Institutions.
